Acts 4:1-37
4 As the two of them de talk to the people, the priests, the captain for the temple, and Sadducee people come meet them.

5 The next day, their rulers, elders and scribes gather together for Jerusalem,
6 together with An′nas the chief priest, Ca′ia·phas, John, Alexander, and all the people wey be the family member of the chief priest.
7 Them bring Peter and John to stand among them and start to ask them say: “Which power or which person name una use do this things?”
8 Then holy spirit enter Peter and e tell them say:
“Una wey de rule the people and una wey be elders,
9 if una de ask us today about the good thing wey we do for the man wey no fit waka, and una want know who make this man well,
10 make all of una and all the people of Israel know say, for the name of Jesus Christ wey come from Naz·a·reth, the person wey una kill ontop pole, but wey God bring come back to life, na because of-am this man don well for body and stand here for una front.
11 Na this Jesus be ‘the stone wey una wey de build house treat as nothing, but e don be the main foundation stone.’*
12 Apart from this one, nobody fit save us, because no other name dey under heaven wey them don give among men, wey go fit save us.”
13 Now as them see say Peter and John no de fear to talk, and know say them no go school* and say them be ordinary people, them really surprise. And them start to see clear say this men don dey with Jesus.
14 As them de look the man wey them cure as e stand with them, them no get anything to answer them back.
15 So them command them to go outside the San′he·drin hall, and them start to discuss the matter with one another.
16 Them talk say: “Wetin we go do with this men? Because true-true, one big sign don happen through them, sign wey everybody wey de live for Jerusalem know about, and we no fit deny this one.
17 So that this one no go de spread more-more among the people, make we make them fear and tell them say make them no tell anybody about this name again.”
18 So with that one, them call them and command them say make them no talk anything at all or teach people with the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answer them say: “Whether the right thing to do for God eye na to listen to una instead of to God, make una judge by unaself.
20 But for us, we no go stop to talk about the things wey we don see and hear.”
21 So after them don try to make them fear more-more, them free them, because them no see any reason wey go make them punish them and still because of the people, since all the people de praise God because of wetin happen.
22 The man wey them do this miracle* for to cure-am don pass 40 years.
23 After them free them, them go meet their own people and tell them the things wey the chief priests and the elders don tell them.
24 As them hear this one, them talk loud to God with one mind and say:
“The Lord Wey High Pass, na you be the Person wey make heaven and the earth and the sea and everything wey dey inside them,
25 and wey use holy spirit help David, our papa-papa, wey be your servant to talk say: ‘Wetin make the nations de vex and wetin make people de think empty things?
26 The kings of the earth don ready to fight and the rulers don gather together as one against Jehovah and against the person wey e don anoint.’*
27 True-true, Herod and Pontius Pilate, with people of the nations and with Israel people, all of them gather together for this city and dey against your holy servant Jesus, wey you don anoint.
28 This things happen because of your hand and because of wetin you don already get for mind.
29 And now, Jehovah, make you hear as them de try to make us fear, and help your slaves make them really get strong heart to continue to talk about your word,
30 as you de stretch out your hand de heal and as signs and wonderful things de happen through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”
31 And when them don really beg God for help,* the place wey them gather together shake, and holy spirit full inside all of them and them no fear as them de talk the word of God.
32 Apart from that one, the plenty people wey believe the message dey as one for heart and mind,* but nobody among them de talk say any of the things wey e get na im own, but them de share everything among theirself.
33 And with great power, the apostles continue to preach about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and all of them receive plenty special favor.
34 The truth be say, nobody dey among them wey no get wetin e need, because all the people wey get land or house sell them and bring the money of wetin them sell,
35 and them go bring-am come give the apostles, and the apostles go share-am to each of them according to wetin them need.
36 So Joseph, wey the apostles still de call Bar′na·bas (wey mean, “Person Wey De Encourage People”* when them translate-am), na Levite e be and na from Cy′prus.
37 E get one land, and e sell-am and bring the money come give the apostles.
