John 14:1-31
14 “Make una no let anything worry una heart. Make una put faith for God, and make una put faith for me too.

8 Philip come tell-am say: “Lord, show us the Papa, and that one go don do for us.”
9 Jesus come tell-am say: “Philip, even as I don stay with una for this long time, you never know me? Anybody wey don see me don see the Papa too. Why you come talk say, ‘Show us the Papa’?
10 You no believe say I dey as one with my Papa and say my Papa dey as one with me? The things wey I de tell una, no be wetin I de talk from my own mind, but na the Papa wey continue to dey as one with me de use me do im work.
11 Make una believe me say I dey as one with my Papa and say my Papa dey as one with me. If una no believe wetin I talk, make una believe because of the work wey I de do.
12 True-true, I de tell una say anybody wey put faith for me go still do the work wey I de do and e go do work wey big pass this ones, because I de go meet my Papa.
13 Another thing be say, anything wey una use my name ask for, I go do-am, so that them go honor the Papa because of the Son.
14 If una use my name ask for anything, I go do-am.
15 “If una love me, una go obey my commandments.
16 And I go beg my Papa and e go give una another helper* wey go dey with una forever.
17 This one na the spirit of truth wey the world no fit get, because the world no de see-am and them no know-am. Una know-am because e dey with una and e dey inside una.
18 I no go leave una like children wey their papa and mama don die, I go come back come meet una.
19 After small time, the world no go see me again, but una go see me because I dey alive and una go dey alive.
20 For that day una go know say I dey as one with my Papa and una dey as one with me and I dey as one with una.
21 Anybody wey accept my commandments and de obey them, na that person love me, and my Papa go love-am. Me too, go love-am and I go show myself clear to-am.”
22 Judas, the one wey no be Is·carʹi·ot, come ask-am say: “Lord, wetin happen wey you want show yourself clear to us but you no go do like that to the world?”
23 Jesus come answer-am say: “If anybody love me, e go obey my word and my Papa go love-am and we go come meet-am and stay with-am.
24 Anybody wey no love me, no de obey the things wey I talk. The word wey una de hear so, no be my own but na the Papa wey send me get-am.
25 “I don tell una this things as I still dey with una.
26 But the helper wey be the holy spirit wey my Papa go use my name send come, that one go teach una everything and go help una remember all the things wey I tell una.
27 I leave una with peace and I de give una my peace. I no de give peace the way the world de give-am. Make una no let anything worry una heart. And make fear no de make una heart cut.
28 Una hear the thing wey I tell una say, ‘I de comot and I go come back come meet una.’ If una love me, una go happy say I de go meet the Papa, because the Papa big pass me.
29 So I don tell una now before e happen, so that una go believe when e happen.
30 I no go talk plenty things with una again, because the ruler of the world de come and e no get anything wey e fit use hold me.*
31 But for the world to know say I love the Papa, I de do exactly as the Papa command me say make I do. Make una get up, make we comot from here.
