26 When Jesus don talk all this things finish, e come tell im disciples say:
2 “Una know say two days from now, them go do the Passover, and them go carry the Son of man give im enemies make them nail-am for pole make e die.”
3 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people come gather for the compound of the high priest wey im name na Ca′ia·phas,
4 and them do secret plan to use cunning-cunning* catch* Jesus and kill-am.
5 But them de talk say: “Make we no do-am for the festival time, so that the people no go do riot.”
6 When Jesus dey for Beth′a·ny for the house of Simon wey get leprosy before,
7 one woman wey carry alabaster container of perfume oil wey cost well-well come meet-am, and e start to pour-am ontop Jesus head as e de chop.*
8 As the disciples see this one, them vex no be small, them come talk say: “Why e de waste this oil?
9 Because them for fit sell-am for plenty money and carry the money give poor people.”
10 As Jesus know wetin them de talk, e come tell them say: “Why una de talk about the woman like that? Na better thing e do for me.
11 Because poor people go always dey with una, but I no go always dey with una.
12 As e pour this oil for my body, e do-am to prepare me for burial.
13 True-true, I de tell una say, anywhere wey them go preach this good news for the whole world, them go still talk about the thing wey this woman do to remember-am.”
14 Then one of the Twelve, wey them de call Judas Is·car′i·ot, go meet the chief priests
15 and ask them say: “Wetin una go give me make I sell-am give una?” Them talk say them go give-am 30 pieces of silver.
16 So from that time, e continue to find better chance wey e go take sell-am give them.
17 For the first day of the Festival of Bread Wey No Get Yeast, the disciples come meet Jesus and ask-am say: “Where you want make we prepare for you to chop the Passover?”
18 E tell them say: “Make una enter inside the city, go meet So-and-so, and tell-am say, ‘The Teacher talk say: “The time wey them fix for me don near. I go celebrate the Passover with my disciples for your house. ”’”
19 So the disciples do as Jesus tell them and prepare for the Passover.
20 When evening reach, e come sitdown for table with the 12 disciples.
21 As them de chop, e come talk say: “True-true, I de tell una say, one of una go sell me give my enemies.”
22 This one make the disciples no happy at all, so all of them come de ask-am one by one say: “Lord, no be me o, or na me?”
23 E come answer them say: “The person wey de put im hand inside the bowl as I de put my hand, na that person go sell me give my enemies.
24 True-true, the Son of man de go just as them write about-am, but e no go better for the person wey go sell the Son of man give im enemies. E for better say them no born that person at all.”
25 Judas wey go soon sell Jesus give im enemies come tell-am say: “Rabbi, no be me o, or na me?” Jesus come answer-am say: “Na you yourself talk-am.”
26 As them continue to chop, Jesus take bread, and after e pray,* e break-am. As e de give the disciples, e come talk say: “Make una take, chop. This one mean my body.”
27 And e take cup, thank God and give-am to them. E come talk say: “Make all of una drink from inside,
28 because this one mean my blood of the agreement wey I go pour because of many people, to forgive their sins.
29 But I de tell una say: I no go ever drink again, any of this things wey them make from vine, until that day wey me and una go drink the one wey new for the Kingdom of my Papa.”
30 Last-last, after them don sing to praise God, them comot go the Mount of Olives.
31 Then Jesus tell them say: “For this night, all of una go fall because of wetin go happen to me. Because them write-am say: ‘I go attack the shepherd, and the sheep go scatter.’
32 But after God don bring me back to life, I go first una go Gal′i·lee.”
33 But Peter come tell-am say: “Even if all the other people fall because of wetin go happen to you, I no go ever fall!”
34 Jesus come tell-am say: “True-true I de tell you say for this night, before cock crow, you go deny me three times.”
35 Peter come tell-am say: “Even if e mean say I go die with you, I no go ever deny you.” All the other disciples still talk the same thing.
36 Then Jesus with im disciples come the place wey them de call Geth·sem′a·ne. And e tell them say: “Make una sitdown for here, I want go there go pray.”
37 And e take Peter and the two sons of Zeb′e·dee follow body. E come start to feel sad and de worry no be small.
38 E come tell them say: “Something de really worry me* for mind, like say I want die self. Make una stay here and continue to watch with me.”
39 As e go front small, e kneel down face ground and pray say: “My Papa, if e dey possible, make this cup pass comot from me. Still, I no de talk say make wetin I want happen, but make wetin you want happen.”
40 When e come back come meet the disciples, e see say them de sleep. E come tell Peter say: “Una no fit follow me continue to watch for even one hour?
41 Make una continue to watch and continue to pray so that una no go fall for temptation. True-true, the spirit ready, but body weak.”
42 E come still go the second time and pray say: “My Papa, if e no dey possible make this cup pass comot, unless I drink-am, make wetin you want happen.”
43 And e come back again, and see say them de sleep, because sleep full their eyes.
44 So e leave them, and go pray again for the third time, and na the same thing e still talk.
45 Then e come back to the disciples, and tell them say: “Una de sleep and de rest for this kind time! See! The hour wey them go take put the Son of man for the hand of sinners don near.
46 Make una stand up, make we de go. See! Person wey go put me for the hand of my enemies don almost reach here.”
47 As e still de talk, see! Judas, wey be one of the Twelve, come with plenty-plenty people wey carry swords and sticks and na the chief priests and the elders of the people send them.
48 Now the person wey sell-am give im enemies don give them one sign say: “Anybody wey I kiss, na im be the person. Make una arrest-am.”
49 E come waka straight go meet Jesus and talk say: “I de greet you o, Rabbi!” and e sofri kiss Jesus.
50 But Jesus ask-am say: “My friend, wetin you come do for here?” Then the people hold Jesus and arrest-am.
51 But see! one of the people wey dey with Jesus grab im sword, pull-am come out and use-am cut the ear of the slave of the high priest comot.
52 Jesus come tell-am say: “Put your sword back for where e de dey, because all the people wey carry sword, na sword go kill them.
53 Or you think say I no fit beg my Papa to give me 12 legions* of angels now-now?
54 But if I do like that, how wetin the word of God talk, say na like this e must happen, go take happen?”
55 Then Jesus tell the plenty people say: “Una carry swords and sticks come arrest me, like say na criminal una de come arrest? Na everyday I be de sitdown for temple de teach, still, una no arrest me.
56 But all this things happen so that the things wey the prophets write* go happen.” Then all the disciples leave-am run.
57 The people wey arrest Jesus carry-am go meet Ca′ia·phas wey be high priest, for where the scribes and the elders don gather together.
58 But Peter continue to follow-am and e give them gap well-well. E even follow them enter the compound of the high priest. And after e don go inside, e come sitdown with the servants for the house, to see wetin go happen.
59 Now the chief priests and everybody wey be part of the San′he·drin de find lie-lie thing wey them go use hold Jesus, so that them go fit kill-am.
60 But them no see any thing, even though say many people come talk lie-lie things. Later, two people come out,
61 and talk say: “This man be talk say, ‘I fit scatter the temple of God and use three days build-am back.’”
62 As the high priest hear this one, e come stand up and tell-am say: “You no get anything to talk? You no de hear wetin this people de talk against you?”
63 But Jesus no talk anything. So the high priest tell-am say: “I want make you swear for front of the living God say you go tell us whether na you be the Christ, the Son of God!”
64 Jesus come tell-am say: “Na you yourself talk-am. But I de tell una say: From now go, una go see the Son of man, wey sitdown for the right hand side of the powerful God* and de come for the clouds of heaven.”
65 Then the high priest tear im own cloths wey e wear ontop and talk say: “E don talk against God! Why we still need people to come talk anything again? See! Una don hear wetin e talk against God.
66 Wetin una think?” Them come answer say: “E suppose to die.”
67 Then them spit for im face, and give-am blow. Other people slap-am for face,
68 and talk say: “You wey be Christ, tell us, na who slap you?”
69 For this time, Peter sitdown for outside for the compound, and one girl wey be servant come meet-am and talk say: “You too be dey with Jesus wey come from Gal′i·lee!”
70 But e deny-am for front of all of them. E say: “I no know wetin you de talk about.”
71 When e comot go the gatehouse, another girl see-am and tell people wey dey there say: “This man be dey with Jesus wey come from Naz′a·reth.”
72 E deny-am again, and swear say: “I no know the man!”
73 After small time don pass, the people wey stand around the place, come and tell Peter say: “You really be one of them too, because the truth be say, the way you de talk de show this one.”
74 Then e start to curse and de swear say: “I no know the man!” At once, cock come crow.
75 Peter come remember wetin Jesus tell-am say: “Before cock go crow, you go deny me three times.” And e go outside and cry well-well.
