Romans 6:1-23
6 So wetin we go talk? We suppose continue to sin so that special favor fit increase?
2 No, make e no be so! As we see say we don die leave sin, how we go continue to live for inside sin again?
3 Or una no know say all of us wey don baptize inside Christ Jesus still baptize inside im death?
4 So them bury us with-am through our baptism inside im death, so that just as Christ don come back to life from death through the glory of the Papa, na so we too suppose de live new life.
5 If we don dey as one with-am for the way e die, true-true we go still dey as one with-am for the way e come back to life.
6 We know say them don nail our old character for the pole together with-am to make our body wey get sin make e no get power again, so that we no go continue to be slaves to sin again.
7 Because the person wey don die don free from* im sin.
8 Apart from that one, if we don die with Christ, we believe say we go still live with-am.
9 We know say now wey Christ don come back to life, e no go die again. Death no be im oga* again.
10 The die wey e die, e die for sin* once and for all, but the life wey e de live, e de live-am for God.
11 For the same way, make una see unaself as people wey don die leave sin, but wey de live for God as people wey de follow Christ Jesus.
12 So, make una no allow sin continue to rule as king for una body wey fit die, so that una no go de obey the things wey the body want.
13 And make una no continue to give una body* to sin as tools to do bad things, but make una give unaself to God as people wey don come back to life, and still give una body* to God as tools to do good things.
14 Make una no ever allow sin to be una oga, as una don see say una no dey under law but una dey under special favor.
15 Wetin we go talk again? We suppose put hand for sin because we no dey under law but we dey under special favor? No, make e no be so!
16 Una no know say if una give unaself to anybody to obey the person as im slave, una be slave of the person wey una de obey? If una be slaves of sin, the result na death; but if una be slaves of God and de obey-am, the result na righteous things.
17 But we thank God say even as una be slaves of sin before, una don de use all una heart follow the example of teaching wey them give una.
18 True-true, since them free una from sin, una don be slaves to righteous things.
19 I de use words wey people understand because una body dey weak; because just as una be don give the parts for una body as slaves to wetin no dey clean and to wicked things wey the result na bad-bad things, so now make una give the parts for una body as slaves to righteous things wey the result na holy things.
20 Because before, when una be slaves of sin, una dey free from things wey dey righteous.
21 So wetin be the fruit wey una de produce that time? Things wey de make una shame now, because the end of those things na death.
22 But now wey them don free una from sin and una don be slaves for God, una de produce una fruit for holy way, and the end na life wey no go end.
23 So the price wey sin de pay na death, but the gift wey God de give na life wey no go end through Christ Jesus our Lord.
